Job summary

Wingstop Restaurants Inc. seeks a General Manager to provide strategic and tactical leadership for the restaurant, driving operations, people development, sales and profit growth.

You will hire, train and develop team members aligned with the Wingstop mission to Serve the World Flavor and convey the Wingstop culture to the crew. The role requires strong staffing, budgeting, and financial analysis skills, with a commitment to safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of previous food service/retail/restaurant supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities; able to manage, train and motivate a diverse crew.
• Proficient in analyzing profit and loss statements and financial performance.
• Knowledge of Labor Laws and good written/verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work 50–60 hours per week, including mornings/evenings/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Staff the restaurant in a timely and efficient manner with a carefully selected team.
• Ensure a safe restaurant environment for team members and guests; oversee onboarding.
• Schedule team members to meet expected sales volumes while considering payroll and overtime costs.
• Own the performance of the entire team; foster a culture of respect, recognition, and reward.
• Audit operations, manage budgets and cost trends, and drive improvements in sales, labor, and food costs.
• Maintain operational standards; coordinate with Facilities and Restaurant Support Center; address risk management.
