Job summary

The Wingstop Restaurants Inc. General Manager will provide strategic and tactical leadership for the restaurant, driving results through people development, sales, and profit growth.

The GM will hire, train, and develop team members who share Wingstop's mission to Serve the World Flavor. They will convey Wingstop culture to the crew, be a collaborative team player, and commit to hard work, fun, and genuine dedication to the brand’s success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of previous food service, retail, or restaurant supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in analyzing profit and loss statements and the overall financial performance of a restaurant.
• Demonstrated ability in recruiting and selecting team members.
• Knowledge of Labor Laws.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Initiative and assertiveness.
• Strong leadership skills to manage, train, develop, and motivate a diverse crew.
• Ability to work 50–60 hours per week, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Staff the restaurant timely and efficiently with a carefully selected team.
• Ensure a safe environment for team members and guests; oversee onboarding and orientation.
• Create staff schedules considering payroll and overtime costs; manage performance plans.
• Own the performance of the entire team and cultivate a respectful, rewarding culture.
• Audit operations, manage budgets and costs, and drive sales and labor control.
• Communicate across the organization from District Manager to every team member.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to ensure a high-performing restaurant.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and risk management procedures.
