Job summary

The role requires 3+ years in restaurant management or 1+ year in a GM/AGM role, strong leadership, and solid English communication. 50+ hour weeks and flexibility are needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Restaurant Management or 1+ year as Assistant General Manager in a high-volume setting.
• Experience with recruiting, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health standards.
• Strong leadership with coaching and excellence focus.
• Financial/P&L knowledge for restaurant operations.
• Excellent communication in English with team members, managers and guests.

• Model operational standards and execute critical behaviors to run great shifts and memories for guests and team members.
• Drive sales and profits by implementing operational standards.
• Oversee shift planning, scheduling, training, and daily routines.
• Develop team members through IDPs and Ignite program.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences and foster connections.
• Meet financial and profitability goals by managing budgets.
• Manage recruitment to ensure Portillo’s experience is delivered.
• Plan around inventory, budget, and labor.
