El Pollo Loco in Rancho Cucamonga, CA is seeking a General Manager to lead restaurant operations with a focus on quality, growth, and a high-energy team. You will ensure policy compliance, drive sales and profitability, and cultivate staff development while maintaining exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires a strong leadership background, a track record of managing restaurant teams, and a commitment to safety and standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be EPL Assistant Manager or have 3+ years of management experience, preferably in a restaurant environment.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for company business.
• Must obtain Serve Safe Certification.

Responsabilités

• Strategically manage, coach, and recognize team performance to drive operations.
• Open/close procedures training and execution per EPL policies, including setup, food prep, and cleaning.
• Optimize labor planning with deployment and scheduling to meet sales targets.
• Provide hands-on support and cover shifts as needed to maintain service levels.
• Maintain focus on guest service and speed, achieving timeliness goals.
• Schedule workforce to meet service levels based on sales projections and labor guidelines.
• Oversee hiring processes from interviews to onboarding to meet staffing needs.
• Perform other duties to support restaurant operations.
