Job summary

The Restaurant General Manager at BURGER KING oversees all restaurant operations, staff development, customer service, and financial performance to ensure smooth store performance. You lead by example, partner with the above-store team to execute the business plan, and work hands-on as needed to drive guest satisfaction and sales growth.

You will optimize staffing, implement brand standards, monitor costs, and ensure compliance with safety and labor laws.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent restaurant management experience.
• English communication is required; Spanish helpful.
• Previous GM/Assistant Manager experience with P&L exposure.
• Strong leadership; calm and professional under pressure.
• Willing to learn all restaurant operations and work multiple stations.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and trains restaurant-level employees, ensuring compliance with brand standards and labor laws.
• Manages staffing levels, recruits talent, and develops internal candidates for management positions.
• Maintains brand image through cleanliness, maintenance, and adherence to food safety requirements.
• Analyzes operational and financial performance, identifies trends, and implements action plans for long-term sales growth.
• Ensures all cash handling procedures are followed within the store.
• Monitors costs and adheres to budget goals; leads cost-control initiatives.
