Job summary

El Pollo Loco, Inc. in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a General Manager responsible for full restaurant operations, staff development, and delivering exceptional guest experiences while meeting sales and profitability targets.

You will lead opening and closing procedures, optimize labor, recruit and train team members, and ensure compliance with policies. This role requires hands-on leadership and a focus on service speed and quality, with accountability for staffing and performance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ years of management experience, preferably in a restaurant.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
• Must obtain Serve Safe Certification.

Responsibilities

• Strategically manages, coaches, and recognizes team member performance to drive efficient and effective restaurant operations.
• Executes and trains team on opening and closing procedures in alignment with El Pollo Loco policies.
• Optimizes labor and workforce planning through effective scheduling to meet sales volume and labor hour targets.
• Provides hands-on support by ensuring proper coverage of all restaurant workstations.
• Maintains focus on guest service and speed of service, educating the team on efficiency metrics.
• Schedules workforce ensuring labor hours are adequate to provide required level of service.
• Oversees hiring processes from interviews to orientations, ensuring staffing requirements are met.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management to support restaurant operations.
