Job summary

Taco Bell Milwaukee is seeking a Restaurant General Manager (RGM) to lead operations, ensuring cleanliness, hospitality, quality, and speed of service while training staff and modeling required behaviors.

The RGM will drive sales, manage staffing across shifts, conduct performance appraisals, and hire crew, shift leaders, and an assistant general manager, all while maintaining a safe, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to lead a team across all shifts and drive performance.
• Strong focus on cleanliness, hospitality, product quality and speed of service.
• Experience in managing costs, staffing, and training.

Responsibilities

• Ensures cost categories including food cost, labor cost, cash and controllable expenses are controlled to guidelines and budgeted levels.
• Produces sales growth by improving five bells, CORE, speed of service and food quality.
• Maintains adequate staffing levels for all days and parts.
• Prepares and conducts performance appraisals for crew, shift managers, and asst. GM.
• Performs hiring for crew, shift leaders, and asst. GM.
• Coaches and develops staff to meet certification and performance targets.
• Maintains restaurant cleanliness and organization per sanitation guidelines.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.
• Verifies safety of restaurant environment and takes corrective actions when needed.
• Ensures preventive maintenance is followed for all equipment and facilities.
• Delivers excellent guest service and resolves complaints to encourage repeat business.
• Provides feedback to area coach on operating results.
