Job summary

IHOP 1743 Riverdale is seeking a full-time General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, mentor staff, and drive sales and guest satisfaction. You will guide financial results, ensure food quality, safety and SOP compliance, and work with the team on marketing initiatives and guest relations.

This role requires strong leadership, hands-on involvement in hiring and training, and a commitment to coaching and performance improvement in a busy, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant restaurant management experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to speak and read English.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage annual financial objectives for the unit.
• Lead local restaurant marketing efforts.
• Oversee guest service and HR objectives.
• Recruit, train, and retain staff.
• Ensure SOP compliance and coaching.
• Maintain inventory and ordering to avoid stockouts.
• Oversee equipment condition, safety, and premises.
