Job summary

Charter Foods is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead the operation of a high-volume location and mentor a strong team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will hire, train, and develop staff, manage scheduling and performance, and own budgeting and financial planning to drive store success.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proven record of people development.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including Profit and Loss responsibility.
• 50-Hour Work Week.
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer literacy
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills
• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs. and stooping during 80% of shift time.
• Competitive spirit and passion for excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the entire restaurant and budget; build a strong team that delivers great food and hospitality.
• Find, hire, and develop employees; conduct new hire orientation and execute training plans.
• Schedule staff, deploy the team, address performance issues, resolve customer issues, and drive financial plans.
