Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe in Birmingham, AL, seeks an experienced restaurant manager to lead daily operations and drive profitability. You will oversee labor, scheduling, food safety, and guest satisfaction while building a high-performance team.

Candidate must have senior management experience, strong leadership, and a passion for fresh, Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. This full-time role offers a path to ownership and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Minimum of 3 years of upper management experience.
• Strong work ethic and passion for fresh food.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to recruit, train, retain, and motivate quality employees.
• Excellent leadership, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to set goals and meet them.
• Experience with restaurant Profit and Loss statements.
• Knowledge of Google Suite and computer literacy.
• Food Manager’s certification to be obtained shortly after starting employment.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing store’s P&L and defining path to achieve cost goals.
• Writing weekly staff schedules to balance people development and labor cost.
• Setting the tone for shifts and guiding staff to goals and duties.
• Mentoring staff and managing quality crew development, motivation, training, and evaluations.
• Ensuring compliance with Health Department standards and alcohol handling policies.
• Mastering menu and product knowledge.
• Preparing catering orders with the team.
• Overseeing ordering of products, supplies, and produce.
• Screening and onboarding hourly employees.
• Maintaining proper cash handling and payment procedures.
