Job summary

Finney Hospitality Group is seeking experienced General Manager leaders to oversee daily operations, guest experiences, and team development across our Bloomington restaurants. You’ll coach managers and hourly staff, manage labor and costs, and uphold our standards of quality and safety.

Flexible to work evenings/weekends, you’ll play a key role in building strong local teams and community relations within the FHG family.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant management experience.
• General Manager or comparable leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Understanding of restaurant financials, labor management, inventory, and cost controls.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day restaurant operations and ensure a consistently strong guest experience.
• Recruit, train, develop, and retain a high-performing restaurant team.
• Coach and develop managers and team members while creating a positive, accountable workplace culture.
• Oversee labor, scheduling, food costs, inventory, and other key operating expenses.
• Monitor restaurant performance and take action to achieve sales, profitability, and operational goals.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable health, safety, and employment requirements.
• Partner with FHG leadership and support teams on restaurant initiatives and operational needs.
• Build relationships within the local community and represent the restaurant and FHG professionally.
• Identify opportunities to improve operations, team performance, and the overall guest experience.
