Job summary

Finney Hospitality Group invites motivated hospitality leaders to explore Assistant General Manager opportunities across our growing restaurant family.

You'll partner with the General Manager to oversee daily operations, develop teams, and deliver a consistently outstanding guest experience while upholding food quality, service and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Experience as an Assistant General Manager or in a similar leadership role is a plus.
• Strong communication and people-management skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and develop a team.

What You'll Do

As an Assistant General Manager, you'll work alongside the General Manager to lead restaurant operations, develop team members, and create an outstanding experience for our guests.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support the General Manager with day-to-day restaurant operations
• Lead, coach, and motivate hourly team members and restaurant leaders
• Help create a positive, engaging, and accountable workplace culture

• Ensure high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety
• Assist with labor management, inventory, cost controls, and other operational goals
• Handle guest concerns and help ensure a consistently strong guest experience
• Help maintain compliance with company policies and applicable health and safety requirements
• Step into restaurant leadership responsibilities when the General Manager is unavailable
• Partner with the General Manager to identify opportunities to improve team and restaurant performance

What We're Looking For

• Previous restaurant or hospitality leadership experience preferred
• Experience as an Assistant General Manager, Assistant Manager, Kitchen Manager, or similar restaurant leadership position is a plus
• Strong communication and people-management skills
• Ability to coach, motivate, and develop a team
• Organized, dependable, and comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Guest-focused mindset and willingness to lead by example
• Desire to continue developing as a restaurant leader
• Flexible availability based on restaurant needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
