Job summary

Smashburger is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to oversee daily operations and performance of a Smashburger location. You will lead Restaurant Managers, Shift Leaders, and team members, ensuring staffing, training, and onboarding while maintaining food safety and policy compliance.

You will drive guest satisfaction, manage labor and costs, and push local marketing and community engagement to boost sales. This role requires flexible availability including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Restaurant General Manager experience in restaurants.
• Ability to lead and develop Restaurant Managers, Shift Leaders and team members.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Restaurant Managers, Shift Leaders, and team members while fostering a positive, high-performance work environment.
• Oversee restaurant operations including staffing, scheduling, onboarding, training, and ensuring policies and food safety standards are followed.
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by upholding service standards and resolving guest concerns quickly.
• Manage financial performance by controlling labor, inventory, cost of goods, and operating expenses while adapting to sales trends.
