Job summary

BURGER KING is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to oversee daily operations, drive guest satisfaction, manage staff, and ensure financial performance at our New Haven, CT location.

You will lead recruiting, training, scheduling, inventory, and compliance with brand standards, while building a high-performance team and delivering exceptional service.

This role requires strong leadership, P&L experience, and a hands-on approach with a minimum 50-hour workweek and weekend/holiday availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Restaurant management experience.
• P&L experience in a customer service environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work 50+ hours per week.
• Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and trains restaurant-level employees, ensuring brand standards and labor law compliance.
• Manages staffing levels, recruits talent, and develops internal candidates for management positions.
• Maintains brand image through cleanliness, maintenance, and food safety adherence.
• Analyzes operational and financial performance, identifies trends, and implements action plans for sales growth.
• Coordinates restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory management, and administrative duties.
• Responds to guest inquiries and complaints with positive resolutions.
