Job summary

Wingstop is seeking a General Manager in Cedar Lake, IN, to lead daily store operations alongside the District Manager. You will deliver exceptional customer service, manage both front- and back-of-house teams, and drive strong operational results.

The ideal candidate has restaurant leadership experience, a passion for growth, and the ability to recruit, train, and coach staff while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience required.
• Manager Food Handler Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling team members, in partnership with the District Manager.
• Works with the District Manager and Human Resources to manage performance, including coaching, counseling, and disciplining team members.
• Communicates job expectations to the staff; plans, monitors, and reviews performance; plans and reviews compensation actions; enforces policies and procedures.
• Communicates with District Manager about operational and human resources issues in a timely manner.
• Performs regular restaurant inspections to ensure team and restaurant meet standards.
• Tracks inventory and maintains accurate records.
• Addresses food preparation issues and assists team with customer service issues to cultivate returning customers.
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy facility by sanitation standards, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Accomplishes company goals by taking ownership of new responsibilities and seeking value-added opportunities.
