Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead food and beverage operations at a premium hotel restaurant in Austin, TX. This senior leadership role combines operations, people development, and business strategy to deliver exceptional guest experiences and financial performance.

You will manage multiple managers and front-of-house teams, drive profitability, and partner with the Executive Chef and beverage team to maintain a top-tier dining program.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or senior leader in a high-volume hotel/ upscale restaurant.
• Ability to own P&L, manage labor and food costs, and drive profitability.
• Strong background in upscale dining with wine/beverage program management; Sommelier certification a plus.
• Experience across multiple meal periods in full-service hotel dining or upscale restaurant.
• Data-driven, with strong communication and leadership across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of hotel restaurant operations—delivering a seamless, elevated dining experience across multiple meal periods in a high-volume environment.
• Recruit, direct, and develop a team of restaurant managers and front-of-house staff.
• Drive restaurant performance through systems, processes, service standards, and company protocols.
• Own the full financial performance of the restaurant—managing P&L, budgets, labor costs, food costs, forecasting, and revenue initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and beverage team to ensure menu quality and beverage program.
• Champion guest satisfaction and uphold brand reputation with urgency and professionalism.
• Work cross-functionally with hotel leadership, marketing, and events teams on promotions and growth.
