Job summary

1 Hotel Austin, L.L.C. seeks a General Manager for Watr to lead the restaurant's total operation and financial performance, including P&L, sales growth, and guest satisfaction.

You will hire and develop management and hourly teams, ensure safety, sanitation, and exceptional service, and align with brand standards across the property. The role emphasizes inspirational leadership, strategic planning, and a focus on continuous improvement to deliver a best-in-class hospitality experience for guests

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years full service restaurant experience as Restaurant Manager or Assistant General Manager level required.
• Record of maintaining high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Bi-lingual preferred.
• State and local alcohol enforcement where applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage team members and day-to-day operations, ensuring productivity and guest satisfaction.
• Provide leadership to align with the property, brand, and department objectives.
• Maintain and improve food quality, service standards, and guest engagement.
• Monitor and optimize labor costs, inventory, and POS operations.
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members to resolve issues and drive improvements.
