Job summary

Pei Wei Asian Kitchen is seeking a General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, drive sales and profitability, and develop teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years GM experience in restaurant or similar multi‑functional operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience managing P&L, labor, inventory, food cost, and controllable expenses.
• ServSafe certification required or ability to obtain within timeframe.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house execution, staffing, food quality, safety, cleanliness, and guest experience.
• Manage profit and loss performance, including sales growth, labor, food cost, controllable expenses, and profitability goals.
• Review business results, identify trends, and implement action plans to improve operations and financial performance.
• Ensure consistent execution of company standards, procedures, and brand expectations.
• Support local marketing initiatives and community engagement to grow sales and brand awareness.
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, coach, and develop team members and restaurant leaders.
• Build a high-performing team with clear expectations, accountability, feedback, and recognition.
• Create an inclusive, safe, performance-driven work environment.
• Address performance concerns promptly, partnering with HR as appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and food safety standards.
