Job summary

Burger King in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead daily operations of a single restaurant (10-45 staff), drive guest satisfaction, and increase sales and profitability.

You will oversee the management team, financial controls, and all shifts, with potential for long or irregular hours. Must have HS diploma or GED, 1–2 years of restaurant management, and be at least 18.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years college preferred.
• Complete all internal certification programs.
• 1-2 years of restaurant management experience.
• Strong understanding of P&L interpretation to influence profitability.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

Responsibilities

• The Restaurant General Manager has overall responsibility for managing daily operations of a single restaurant (10-45 employees) ensuring delivery on guest satisfaction and profitability.
• Leads the restaurant management team and oversees financial controls, operations, people development, guest service and compliance within the restaurant across all shifts.
• Work long and/or irregular shifts, including extra shifts, as needed, for proper restaurant functioning.
• Directly manages Team Members, Shift Coordinators and Assistant Managers, under guidance of a District Manager.
• Interacts with restaurant team members, management, customers, and vendors.
