Job summary

Long John Silver's is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead the TEAM, set the tone of the work environment, and ensure outstanding hospitality.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and a proven track record in developing people. You will oversee the operation of the entire restaurant, hire and train staff, manage scheduling, handle customer issues, and drive the budget and financial plans for the location.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including Profit and Loss responsibility.
• 50-Hour Work Week.
• Basic computer literacy
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills
• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs. and stooping during 80% of shift time.
• Competitive spirit and passion for excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the entire restaurant and build a strong team that delivers great food and friendly service.
• Find, hire and develop employees; conduct new hire orientation and training plans.
• Schedule staff and deploy the Team; address performance issues; resolve customer issues.
• Manage the restaurant budget and financial plans.
