Job summary

Hoogland Restaurant Group seeks a dynamic Store Manager for Marco’s Pizza locations in Ohio. You will lead a growing team, uphold service standards, and drive customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

You will recruit, train, and coach staff, manage scheduling and payroll, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with the home office on inventory and policy execution to keep our stores operating at peak performance.

Qualifications

• 3 years of leadership experience at a restaurant or retail environment.
• Experience interviewing and hiring store staff.
• Ability to manage schedules, payroll, benefits and performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop up to 20 team members in a Marco’s Pizza location.
• Recruit and interview store employees aligned with company values.
• Train staff on processes, customer service, and updated policies.
• Ensure scheduling, payroll, benefits, performance reviews and reporting to home office.
• Plan leadership team meetings with Assistant Manager, Shift Leads, and Manager in Training.
• Maintain product quality, service speed, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Oversee inventory levels, par levels, and weekly/monthly inventories.

• Ensure all aspects of human resources are followed including scheduling, payroll, benefits, performance reviews and reporting to the home office as requested.

Product

• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure appropriate inventory par levels and ordering system are in place.
• Complete weekly inventory.
• Complete end of period inventory.

Management

• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Complete inventory reporting, ensure appropriate inventory par levels are met and ordering system is in place.
• Accountable for creating store Action Plans including marketing to continuously improve the business.
• Accountable for weekly KPIs and plan to achieve goals
• Ensure the store and exterior of the property are maintained.
• Ensure proper security and verification procedures are met when handling deposits and the contents of the safe.

Requirements

• 3 years of leadership experience, required
• 1 year of restaurant experience, preferred
• Ability to lead up to 20 team members
• Willing to work about 50 hours per week including some Saturdays and Sundays
