Job summary

Hoogland Restaurant Group is seeking an energetic restaurant manager for Marco’s Pizza in the United States. You will lead a team, uphold service, quality, and cleanliness, and drive store performance.

Responsibilities include hiring, training, scheduling, payroll and reporting, and executing action plans to improve KPIs. The role requires weekend availability and a passion for people and results.

Qualifications

• 3 years of leadership experience in a restaurant setting.
• Strong ability to manage up to 20 team members.
• Willing to work ~50 hours/week including weekends.
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team, recruit and interview employees.
• Ensure product quality, service speed, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Manage inventory, par levels, and end-of-period inventories.
• Oversee scheduling, payroll, benefits, and reporting.
• Develop store Action Plans to improve business; monitor weekly KPIs.
• Maintain store exterior and security procedures for deposits.

• Demonstrate and reinforce Marco's leadership behaviors and values.

• Source and interview all store employees to ensure they will embrace our values, including a strong dedication to customer satisfaction.
• Training team members on company processes, customer service, and updated policies and procedures to ensure we are a world class operation.
• Ensure all aspects of human resources are followed including scheduling, payroll, benefits, performance reviews and reporting to the home office as requested.
• Plan and coordinate leadership team meetings with Assistant Manager, Shift Leads, and Manager in Training.

Product

• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure appropriate inventory par levels and ordering system are in place.
• Complete weekly inventory.
• Complete end of period inventory.

Management

• Ensure standards are maintained for product quality, service speed and quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Complete inventory reporting, ensure appropriate inventory par levels are met and ordering system is in place.
• Accountable for creating store Action Plans including marketing to continuously improve the business.
• Accountable for weekly KPIs and plan to achieve goals
• Ensure the store and exterior of the property are maintained.
• Ensure proper security and verification procedures are met when handling deposits and the contents of the safe.

Requirements

• 3 years of leadership experience, required
• 1 year of restaurant experience, preferred
• Ability to lead up to 20 team members
• Willing to work about 50 hours per week including some Saturdays and Sundays
