Job summary

SquareOne Holding is seeking a General Manager for Stir in Southend Charlotte, NC. You will lead daily operations, oversee hospitality programs, and partner with the district manager to manage budgets and staffing.

The role requires at least 3 years of management experience in upscale casual dining, a hospitality degree preferred, strong people skills, and a passion for service. Our Stir concept offers made-from-scratch cocktails and seafood, with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of management experience in upscale casual dining.
• Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
• Strong numerical skills and budgeting awareness.
• Ability to coach and develop hospitality-focused team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and execution of daily operations - Leading each shift with open eyes and ears
• Oversee success of all programs and systems, MIT, Certified Trainers, Hourly training
• Assist General Manager with hiring, training, and development of hospitality-focused Team Members
• Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food preparation and serving
• Support all FOH operations systems, administrative responsibilities, health inspections, order guides, quality control, food safety and sanitation
• Handle all Guest and Team Members complaints, comments, concerns swiftly and consistently with SQ1 values
• Maintain a safe working environment for Team Members and dining environment for Guests. Report all Team Member and Guest accidents in accordance with SQ1's policies
• Follow MIT Training and complete projects as assigned for personal and professional development
• Work with the District Operational Manager to ensure all financials are on track, recorded accurately, and on time, payroll, invoices, food and labor budgets, and more assigned
• Work with various programs; CTUIT, Toast, Paycom
• Ensure our Brand Pillars are adopted and followed at every level

SquareOne Holding has 17 restaurant locations with many concepts in the southeast and is looking for a General Manager at our concept STIR in Southend Charlotte, NC.

Our Stir concept features made from scratch cocktails and our kitchen prepares everything from scratch, using the finest produce, meats, and seasonal ingredients. Our signature raw bar is stocked with the freshest oysters and seasonal seafood available!

Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities include:

What we're looking for in a Restaurant Manager

• Minimum of 3 years management experience in an upscale casual dining restaurant
• A degree in Hospitality Management, or similar, is preferred
• You are good with numbers
• You can coach and develop Team Members
• Strong passion for hospitality and service
• Knowledge of food and beverage preparation
• Working knowledge of local and national health codes
• Excellent communication
