POSITION SUMMARY:

The perfect Restaurant General Manager at Qdoba is a confident decision-maker with proven experience in guest/customer service, employee management, business and financial management, and people motivation. He or she is an excellent communicator—both in writing and verbally. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Fostering a culture of high employee retention and full staffing
2. Managing and developing crew members to encourage growth and reduce turnover
3. Interviewing and hiring team members

5. Training, monitoring, and reinforcing food safety procedures
6. Building sales through delicious food, exceptional hospitality, and a clean restaurant and kitchen

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Age: 18 years old to comply with state and federal laws.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: 5+ years in QSR with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Excellent prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Strong verbal and written communication. Highly motivated, organized, and ethical. Able to work in a fast-paced environment, recruit, hire, coach, train, and motivate staff. Valid driver’s license required.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift equipment and cases weighing 10-50 lbs, speak and hear clearly, and operate a computer or tablet.
