Job summary

Wendy's is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repairs at our restaurants. The ideal candidate will be organized, able to work independently, and experienced in repairing a wide range of restaurant equipment, electrical systems, heating systems, HVAC/Refrigeration, plumbing, and general building repair.

The role requires diagnosing malfunctions, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to emergency service calls.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in restaurant equipment repairs.
• Ability to perform technician work on a wide range of equipment including fryers, grills, walk-in freezers/coolers, ice machines, ovens, etc.
• Ability to work independently, exercising judgment and initiative.
• Ability to diagnose standard malfunctions in restaurant equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, plans, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and complete needed equipment repairs as they occur in a timely fashion.
• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on a wide range of restaurant equipment including electrical systems, heating systems, HVAC/Refrigeration, plumbing, painting.
• Respond to emergency service calls for repair.
• Develop a work schedule to minimize impact on customer service and operations.
• Inspect and diagnose standard malfunctions in restaurant equipment.
• Estimate time and cost of repairs and cost of equipment.
