Job summary

McDonald’s is seeking a Department Manager in New Jersey to lead key restaurant operations and supervise shifts on a weekly basis. You will support the General Manager by guiding training, food safety, inventory, and daily workflows to ensure fast, friendly, and accurate service for guests.

Ideal candidates bring prior managerial experience in fast-paced settings, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to communicate clearly with staff and customers.

Qualifications

• Prior managerial experience preferred, especially in restaurant, retail or hospitality.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate owned and operated restaurants.
• Strong teamwork, flexibility and customer focus are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal functions such as Employee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Delegate tasks, monitor results, and report outcomes to the General Manager.
• Support operations across Kitchen, People and Service to meet quality standards.
• Partner with the team to ensure safe, efficient restaurant operations.
