Job summary

Zalat Pizza is seeking a Restaurant Coach to lead and coach a high-volume team, driving daily operations and guest satisfaction. You will model excellence in safety, cleanliness, and service while building a culture of accountability and learning.

The role emphasizes developing people, meeting performance targets, and maintaining a smooth operation with strong financial awareness. A CTR validation and Opus training completion are valued assets, with opportunities for growth within the brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume environment.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Must hold or obtain a valid Food Manager Safety Certification.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Completion of all Opus training courses and CTR sign-off or approval by Training Director.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach your team through every shift to meet high standards for safety, cleanliness, speed, and quality.
• Manage daily operations: scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and company checklists (e.g. Jolt, PECs).
• Oversee purchasing, receiving, inventory control, and cost accounting processes.
• Maintain the facility and equipment to ensure safety and hygiene.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members, fostering a positive culture.
• Handle payroll, scheduling, and labor cost management.
• Monitor customer feedback and coach the team to improve service.
• Track controllable costs to meet profitability goals.
• Uphold all food safety and health standards.
