Kizuki Ramen in Washington, DC seeks a Restaurant Captain/Assistant Manager to uphold our standards of excellence, mentor staff, and deliver top-tier guest experiences. You will support the General Manager and ensure the shop executes our SOPs with accuracy.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service, hands-on leadership, and the ability to train teams in a fast-paced setting while maintaining inventory and quality control.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, food service, or related fields.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English.
• Must have (or be willing to obtain) a valid food handler’s permit.
• Alcohol serving license preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to train and support team member growth.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to withstand temperature extremes and exposure to cleaning chemicals, smoke, fumes, and airborne particles.
• 18+ years of age.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor when helping guests and receiving feedback.
• Train and elevate restaurant standards, control food costs, and inspect food quality.
• Communicate goals by rallying team members during busy shifts and removing obstacles.
• Organize work schedules, shipments, cleaning schedules and other tasks.
• Resolve a variety of issues as they occur including training gaps, handling unsatisfied guests, and inventory accuracy.
• Accurately communicate standards and cooking methods to staff, give orders and speak with customers clearly.
• Train team members in all stations, using side-by-side interactions and our LMS to maintain a productive team.
• Obtain skills and knowledge for basic equipment maintenance on kitchen appliances.
• Follow daily quality checks and maintain a high standard in the store.
• Other duties as assigned.
