Job summary

JINYA Ramen Bar in Washington, DC seeks a hands-on FOH Manager to lead front-of-house operations and set the standard for service excellence. You will guide, train and motivate the team, manage guest relations, and uphold brand standards across shifts.

This exempt salaried role reports to the General Manager and requires strong leadership, inventory control, and familiarity with POS systems. A minimum two years of restaurant or hospitality leadership is preferred, with flexible hours including

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably high-volume.
• Strong verbal and written communication; multi-task and manage teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation and safety standards; ensure restaurant cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Develop and manage the front-of-house team; lead service quality controls.
• Create schedules to optimize labor costs while ensuring coverage.
• Monitor hospitality standards and guest service; respond to complaints.
• Collaborate with GM and other managers to meet revenue and cost goals.
