Slim Chickens is hiring an Assistant Manager in High Point to lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring outstanding guest service, quality food, and sanitation. You will supervise Shift Leaders and hourly staff, oversee cash handling, and ensure policy compliance.

The role includes recruiting, scheduling, coaching, and maintaining records. You’ll support the General Manager to drive performance, guest satisfaction, and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Able to read, write and communicate well.
• Proficient math skills and comfort with numbers.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Demonstrates maturity and professional demeanor.
• Friendly, outgoing personality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure quality food, service and sanitation.
• Manage and supervise Shift Leaders and hourly staff.
• Recruit, interview, select and hire quality staff for all positions.
• Conduct orientation and train Shift Leaders and hourly staff.
• Perform performance reviews and provide coaching to staff.
• Adjust work schedules to ensure shifts are covered and overtime as needed.
• Lead staff meetings and delegate tasks; resolve employee concerns.
• Maintain records as required by policies and laws; ensure safety and food handling compliance.
