Job summary

Slim Chickens is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and ensure outstanding guest service. You will supervise Shift Leaders and hourly staff, oversee cash handling, and enforce company policies and standards.

In the absence of the General Manager, you are the top on-site leader for operations, payroll, and compliance. The role requires robust leadership, strong communication, and a ServSafe certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be ServSafe Certified.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure quality, service and sanitation.
• Manage and supervise Shift Leaders and hourly staff.
• Direct daily work assignments for staff and ensure coverage.
• Handle cash reconciliations at shift changes and maintain records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal laws.
