Slim Chickens in Monroe, NC is looking for an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and deliver outstanding guest service. You will oversee Shift Leaders and hourly staff, manage inventory and cash, and ensure compliance with company standards.

You’ll be trusted to own your work, guide teams, conduct training and performance reviews, and help drive growth for a fast-paced brand that values hustle, connection, and accountability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read, write and verbally communicate well.
• Proficient math skills and comfort with numbers.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure quality food, service and sanitation.
• Supervise Shift Leaders and hourly staff.
• Direct daily work responsibilities for staff.
• Manage inventory and ensure proper product levels.
• Reconcile cash registers at opening/closing.
• Maintain records per policies and state/federal law.
• Ensure staff compliance with policies, standards and safety laws.
• Support leadership in development and execution of tasks.
