Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza, a Pizza Hut franchisee in Harrisonburg, VA, seeks a Restaurant Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations and ensure friendly, prompt service in a clean, inviting environment.

You will work closely with the District Manager to lead a team, manage schedules, uphold food safety standards, and contribute to a positive guest experience through hands-on leadership and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience in high volume food service preferred.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver's License in good standing with access to private transportation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem solving and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations under the General Manager.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls and staff scheduling.
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team members.
• Coach, counsel and develop staff and manage team relations.
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance and safety standards.
• Set the tone for a fun, family environment in the restaurant.
