Charter Foods is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in running shifts and upholding Charter Foods and brand standards.

You will take ownership to solve problems with a smile, guide team members, manage inventory, and maintain financial accountability, ensuring safe, high‑quality food for customers.

This role requires leadership, reliability, and the ability to work a 50‑hour week in a fast‑paced environment, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail with P&L responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 50‑hour work week.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Strong arithmetic and accounting abilities.
• Able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to maintain safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant General Manager in running shifts and meeting Charter Foods standards and brand standards.
• Take ownership and responsibility to solve problems with a smile, seek help when needed, and guide others.
• Ensure Team Members and Shift Managers complete all assigned duties, manage inventory, and maintain financial accountability.
• Deliver safe, quality food to customers in a timely manner.
• Maintain a safe environment for employees and customers.
