Job summary

Charter Foods is seeking an experienced supervisor to support the Restaurant General Manager in running shifts and ensuring Charter Foods and brand standards are met. The role focuses on leadership, inventory control, and reliable execution of daily duties.

You will help guide team members, maintain safe food handling, and contribute to a positive dining experience for customers while upholding the company’s values and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail, including Profit and Loss responsibility.
• 50-hour work week.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills.
• Able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, lift and carry trash containers and place them in an outside bin.
• Able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the restaurant.
• Able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and stoop for 80% of shift.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant General Manager in running shifts and meeting Charter Foods standards.
• Take ownership and guide others to complete duties, manage inventory, and maintain financial accountability.
• Deliver safe, quality food to customers in a timely manner and maintain a safe environment for staff and customers.
