Job summary

KF is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager and lead a team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will train, coach, recognize staff, and step in during the RGM's absence to keep daily operations running smoothly.

This role emphasizes profit and loss awareness, strict food safety, and a positive, inclusive culture. You will work a 48-hour week with 40 hours regular pay and 8 hours overtime, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years restaurant or retail management experience.
• Assist with P&L management, cash control, inventory, labor, and reviewing financial reports.
• Ensure all employees receive proper training and resources.
• Champion KF’s culture, promoting equity and belonging in the restaurant.
• Lead efforts in recognition, collaboration, and motivation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by modeling the KFC Connect Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs.
• Oversee Team Members' shift responsibilities and maintain high food safety standards.
• Take charge of restaurant operations in the RGM's absence.
• Collaborate with the RGM in assessing team performance, provide positive feedback or escalate as needed.
• Assist in sourcing, interviewing, and hiring Team Members while fostering equity, inclusion, and belonging.
• Assist with Profit & Loss management, including cash control, security procedures, inventory, and labor.
• Review financial reports and take actions to optimize performance.
• Support maintenance of facility and health and safety standards.
