Job summary

Pilot Flying J is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to help oversee our high-volume, quick-service restaurants within travel centers. You will support the Restaurant General Manager and help manage daily operations with a focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork.

The role requires leadership experience in food service, a high school diploma or equivalent, and flexibility in scheduling. Competitive pay and benefits are provided in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent team leadership and customer service skills are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Minimum one year of food service management experience required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Fill in for the Restaurant General Manager.
• Assist GM in selecting, coaching, training and developing Team Members.
• Direct and assign work to Team Members.
• Create a positive work environment for team members.
• Expedite food service and assist with food preparation.
• Ensure guest satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and food safety.
