Job summary

Thacher Restaurant Group is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager and lead daily restaurant operations. You will coach Shift Leaders, support team development, and ensure an exceptional guest experience while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

You will also assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and managing labor and costs, creating a positive, inclusive culture and preparing for future General Manager opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handler Certification.
• Proven leadership and coaching abilities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations alongside the General Manager.
• Coach, develop, and support Shift Leaders and team members.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are consistently met.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed to keep teams and guests safe.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and team development.
• Monitor labor, sales, inventory, and controllable costs.
• Support restaurant profitability through strong operational execution.
• Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time.
