Job summary

ALMG Hospitality is seeking an Assistant Manager in Los Angeles to oversee and coordinate restaurant staff, ensuring exceptional guest service and efficient operation. You will supervise both front-of-house and kitchen activities, drive budgets, and lead a team to meet sales and service goals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant/hospitality management experience.
• Strong communication skills and work ethic.
• Friendly, positive attitude and team player.
• Proficient with Google Suite, MS Office, task management tools.
• California Food Manager Certification.
• Fluent in Korean and English; written and spoken.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with ALMG Hospitality mission.
• Comply with regulations, policies, and safety requirements.
• Ensure guests feel welcome and receive responsive, courteous service.
• Perform some food prep and customer service tasks.
• Develop restaurant objectives, budgets, policies, procedures, and strategies.
• Supervise kitchen and dining area activities.
• Monitor workers and procedures to ensure quality standards and complete disciplinary actions.
• Develop staff in managerial and professional skills.
• Control and perform various financial activities.
• Investigate and resolve complaints and store issues.
• Control inventories and procurement of supplies and equipment.
• Prepare paperwork, reports, and schedules in an organized manner.
• Specify portions, production sequences, and workstation arrangements.
• Manage employment, training, scheduling, and termination processes.
• Conduct meetings and collaborate with other personnel.
• Monitor third-party sales platforms and performance.
• Attend scheduled meetings and suggest improvements.
