Role Description The Assistant Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Buena Park, CA. This role supports the General Manager in day-to-day restaurant operations, including overseeing service quality, coordinating staff schedules, and ensuring a smooth guest experience. The Assistant Manager will lead and coach front-of-house team members, assist with training and performance feedback, and promote a positive, inclusive work environment. Responsibilities include monitoring food and beverage quality, managing opening and closing procedures, supporting inventory and supply ordering, and helping maintain compliance with health, safety, and company standards. The Assistant Manager will also help resolve guest inquiries, support sales and promotional activities, and contribute to continuous improvement of restaurant performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or restaurant operations, preferably in a high-volume or upscale dining environment.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, including staff training, coaching, and conflict resolution.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a focus on creating welcoming and memorable guest experiences.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities during busy shifts.
• Basic knowledge of scheduling, inventory control, and cash handling procedures.
• Understanding of food safety, health, and sanitation regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic setting and adapting to evolving business needs.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations.
• Interest in Korean cuisine and culture; prior experience with Korean BBQ or Asian dining concepts is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in hospitality or business is beneficial.
