Job summary

Sonic, a Drive-In restaurant in the United States, seeks an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations. You will train and supervise Crew, Carhops, and skaters, schedule staff, manage inventory, and oversee hiring, budgeting and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced studies preferred.
• Minimum of two years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Experience running shifts with or without supervision.
• Knowledge of labor laws, health and sanitation regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches crew and drive-in staff.
• Directs and assigns employees to ensure quality food service.
• Prepares employee work schedules and manages staffing levels.
• Places orders for supplies within cost-control procedures.
• Develops and implements marketing plans and reports.
• Interviews and hires restaurant crew and management members.
• Maintains records and operational reports; handles guest complaints.
