Job summary

Sonic Drive-In Texas seeks an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in operating a busy drive-in. You will train and supervise crew, manage shifts, control costs, and ensure safe, high-quality food and guest service.

This role requires leadership, excellent communication, ability to work irregular hours, and prior restaurant management experience. You’ll help meet sales goals and maintain the Sonic brand standards.

Qualifications

• Must have restaurant management experience (QSR) or equivalent retail management.
• Strong leadership and team-motivation abilities required.
• Excellent communication and basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM in managing drive-in operations and staff supervision.
• Direct and trainTeam / Crew Members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops.
• Monitor staffing, inventory, and food cost controls.
• Perform opening/closing duties and maintain records.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and adherence to standards.
