Job summary

Level99 Entertainment in McLean, VA seeks a dynamic Restaurant Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead top-tier guest experiences and mentor staff. A primary focus is managing the beverage program, collaborating with Culinary, Event Sales, and Entertainment to ensure smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on leadership in fast-paced venues, strong communication skills, and a passion for hospitality, food & beverage excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Restaurant or Event Operations Manager or equivalent in a high-volume entertainment and/or food & beverage business.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency response.
• Onsite 5 days/week averaging 9 hours/day, with seasonal increases.
• Work 9+ hour shifts; stand, sit, squat, walk, and use stairs for extended periods.
• Grasp, reach overhead, push, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manage total beverage program: inventory, smallwares, ordering, and training.
• Schedule, train, and develop servers and support staff aligned with Level99 core values.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment, from job postings and budgets to interviewing and onboarding.
• Collaborate closely with and support the entertainment team.
• Maintain full knowledge of Brew Hall and Taproom menus.
• Drive operational execution, shift routines, and facility maintenance.
