Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. is seeking a Custodial Site Supervisor to lead a Rest Area team in West Point, GA. You will supervise Attendants and Weekend Supervisors, ensure daily cleaning and safety, and coordinate with project managers for maintenance work orders.

The role requires strong leadership, a willingness to work nights/weekends, and a commitment to a welcoming traveler experience. Training and consistent safety practices are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Janitorial and/or maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards.
• Ability to lead, manage, and direct a team.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of the materials, methods, and tools used to maintain and repair buildings and other structures.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Professional appearance and a calm, approachable manner when working with a variety of personalities.
• Fluent in English.
• Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including nights and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support Rest Area Attendants and Weekend Supervisors.
• Ensure all contract requirements are met at each assigned Safety Rest Area.
• Keep facilities and grounds clean and maintained to contractual standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of restrooms and common areas for sanitation, safety, and order.
• Identify maintenance needs and create work orders for preventive, minor, and major repairs.
• Coordinate with Area Managers and Project Manager to ensure work orders are reported and processed.
• Oversee subcontractors at the direction of Area Managers and Project Manager.
• Maintain daily/weekly documentation and logs (maintenance, access, inventories).
• Perform minor maintenance such as bulb and filter changes.
• Assist with grounds/landscape care as needed.
• Greet travelers and address questions, creating a welcoming experience.
• Identify hazardous conditions and promote safety culture.
• Respond to emergencies within 60 minutes when directed.
• Lead by example with professionalism and strong work ethic.
• Additional duties as needed to meet business requirements.
