Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. is seeking a Custodial Site Supervisor for our Safety Rest Area in St. Marys, GA. You will lead a team of Rest Area Attendants and Weekend Supervisors to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming stop for travelers.

You will conduct inspections, manage work orders with Area/Project Managers, oversee on-site staff and subcontractors, perform minor maintenance, and respond to emergencies. This role requires hands-on leadership and a strong commitment to safety and service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Janitorial/maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards.
• Ability to lead and direct a team.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of maintenance materials, methods and tools.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Professional appearance and calm demeanor.
• Fluent in English.
• Flexible schedule, including nights/weekends as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Microsoft Office experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Rest Area Attendants and Weekend Supervisors daily.
• Ensure contract requirements are met at each site.
• Maintain cleanliness to contractual standards.
• Conduct weekly inspections of restrooms and common areas.
• Identify maintenance needs and create work orders.
• Coordinate with Area Managers and Project Manager on work orders.
• Oversee subcontractors as directed.
• Complete daily/weekly logs and inventories.
• Perform minor maintenance such as changing bulbs.
• Support grounds and landscape tasks.
• Greet travelers and assist with questions.
• Promote safety culture and respond to emergencies within 60 minutes.
• Lead by example with professionalism.
