Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. is seeking a dependable Custodial Site Supervisor to lead daily operations at our Safety Rest Area in Port Wentworth, GA. You will manage a team of Rest Area Attendants and Weekend Supervisors, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming stop for travelers.

You will oversee maintenance, safety inspections, and coordination with Area Managers to report work orders and ensure contract compliance. A strong leader with English fluency and flexible schedule is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Janitorial and/or maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards.
• Ability to lead, manage, and direct a team.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of building maintenance materials, methods, and tools.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
• Professional appearance and approachable manner with various personalities.
• Fluent in English.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support Rest Area Attendants and Weekend Supervisors daily.
• Ensure all contract requirements at each Safety Rest Area are met.
• Maintain facilities and grounds to contractual standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of restrooms and common areas for sanitation and safety.
• Create and manage maintenance work orders for repairs and improvements.
• Coordinate with Area Managers and the Project Manager on reporting and processing work orders.
• Oversee subcontractors on site as directed by management.
• Complete daily/weekly documentation and preventive maintenance logs.
• Perform minor maintenance (e.g., changing bulbs/filters) as needed.
• Assist with grounds and landscaping tasks as required.
• Step in for Attendant or Lead Supervisor duties when necessary.
• Greet travelers and address questions, creating a welcoming experience.
• Identify hazardous conditions and promote a safety-first culture.
• Respond to emergencies within 60 minutes or per client direction, 24/7 availability.
• Lead by example with professionalism and work ethic.
