U.S. Facilities, Inc. in Columbus, GA is seeking a Custodial Site Supervisor to lead daily operations at a Safety Rest Area. You will supervise Rest Area Attendants and Weekend Supervisors, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and contract compliance.

You will perform routine inspections, manage maintenance requests, coordinate with Area and Project Managers, oversee subcontractors, and assist travelers while promoting a proactive safety culture around the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Janitorial/maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards.
• Ability to lead, manage, and direct a team.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools used to maintain and repair buildings and other structures.
• Strong organizational skills and multitask and complete duties efficiently.
• Professional appearance and a calm, approachable manner when working with various personalities.
• Fluent in English.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support Rest Area Attendants and Weekend Supervisors daily.
• Ensure contract requirements are met at each Rest Area.
• Maintain facilities and grounds to contractual standards.
• Conduct weekly inspections of restrooms and common areas for sanitation and safety.
• Identify maintenance needs and create work orders for repairs.
• Coordinate with Area and Project Managers to process work orders.
• Oversee subcontractors at direction of Area/Project Managers.
• Maintain daily and weekly logs and preventive maintenance records.
• Perform minor maintenance such as changing bulbs and filters.
• Assist with grounds/landscape care as needed.
• Greet travelers and assist with questions, providing a welcoming experience.
• Promote safety and promptly correct hazards; respond to emergencies (60 minutes).
• Lead by example with professionalism and a strong work ethic.
