Job summary

Mavagi Enterprises, Inc. seeks a Rest Area Attendant to cultivate and maintain landscaping and grounds, and keep the rest area clean per company standards. The role operates under a Supervisor and requires careful use of supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities include custodial tasks, lawn care, and reporting maintenance issues to the Supervisor. Candidates should be reliable, with basic English skills and at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• One year of relevant experience.
• Read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to operate riding mower and other landscaping tools.
• The ability to lift between 25-50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, collect and remove trash, dust, clean windows.
• Assist with stripping and waxing floors and carpet cleaning if requested.
• Inform Supervisor of maintenance issues and provide timely feedback.
• Prepare reports, timecards, and paperwork for Supervisor.
• Ensure health and safety of staff and visitors at the site.
• Maintain safety supplies and report equipment damage as needed.
• Perform groundskeeping tasks like mowing, trimming, planting, and mulching.
