Job summary

Mavagi Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Grounds Laborer to maintain landscaping and grounds around facilities. Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, seeding, planting, and general upkeep using various tools and equipment.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in heat, and follow safety procedures while performing routine maintenance and light custodial duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of relevant landscaping experience recommended.
• Read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Knowledge of landscaping tools, equipment, and methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform groundskeeping duties.
• Cut/Mow lawn using hand, power, or riding mower.
• Trim and edge around walks, beds, and walls.
• Rake and seed or sod as needed.
• Landscape planting and fertilizer application.
• Remove debris and prune shrubs as needed.
• Operate or learn to operate listed equipment.
• Occasionally perform custodial/janitorial duties as assigned by supervisor.
