Job summary

On Your Mark, Inc. is seeking a Respite Coordinator to supervise programs for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, ensuring safety and timely paperwork.

You will collaborate with Respite Administration to expand program opportunities and develop engaging activities for the year. Responsibilities include incident reporting, policy compliance, staff training on behavior support strategies, and coordinating schedules to protect participants' rights and dignity while

Qualifications

• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Self-directed and motivated to function independently.
• Creative and solution-oriented thinkers preferred.
• Willing and able to work a flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends as necessary and as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Intervene and report any incidents or suspected incidents of abuse and/or neglect IMMEDIATELY.
• Comply with all OPWDD, New York State Justice Center, and On Your Mark regulations, policies and procedures.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all individuals within the program. Respond promptly and appropriately in emergency situations.
• Prioritize and organize tasks and promote teamwork among staff.
• Provide direct supervision to specialty staff and direct support professionals.
